Applications are invited from suitably qualified local candidates for the following positions:

MINISTRY: INFORMATION, COMMUNICATIONS, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

DEPARTMENT : POSTAL SERVICES
JOB TITLE : PHILATELIC CLERK (1)

GRADE : E
RESPONSIBLE TO : ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

LOCATION : MASERU

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Prepares schedule of duties for the staff and provide them with the current information on philately.
  • Attends to queries/complaints from the stamp collectors
  • Ensures that standing order customers are served in time and according to specifications.
  • Keeps an up to date record of all issues for the year.
  • Reviews standing order cards and inform customers on the position to their accounts.
  • Maintains stock ledger and stock tally cards for stocks received and issued.
  • Opens accounts for new customers and supply brochures for new issues.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Diploma in Business Management/Business Studies/Marketing Management/Management plus two years working experience. Experience in Philately will be an added advantage.

OR

COSC plus 6 years working as a Postal Clerk.
