NALA BUTCHERY is primarily a family butcher shop in Maseru. We have served our customers well throughout the past 6 years and have performed exceptionally with our outside Butcher Grill. Nala Butchery prides itself on learning its customers’ taste, which has led us to develop our own signature Boer-Wors flavour.

POSITION: CASHIERS (2)The Cashier reports to the Butchery Operations Manager and is responsible to deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operational activities and merchandising in store that leads to a positive customer experience.Responsibilities:• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased.• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.• To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.• To efficiently execute and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties.• To maintain updated knowledge on products and provide the correct information to customers at all times.• Refers to price sheets and ensure prices are up-to-date.• Balance cash flow at the end of his/her shift.• Follows store policies and procedures.Requirements:• Basic maths calculations.• Understanding of stock management procedures.• Knowledge of customer service excellent.• Friendly and positive attitude.• Communication skills.• Attention to detail.• Computer literacy.Qualification:• A minimum COSC, a certificate in accounting/ business administration is an added advantage.• 3 years experience as a cashier.
