Employment Opening – PEPFAR Media Outreach Coordinator (All Interested Applicants)
The U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom of Lesotho is seeking a qualified individual for the position of PEPFAR Media Outreach Coordinator.
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
The PEPFAR Media Outreach Coordinator’s principal role is to promote and provide understanding of the U.S. Government’s initiative to fight HIV/AIDS (PEPFAR – the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) in Lesotho. The Media Outreach Coordinator, with supervision and guidance from the PEPFAR Country Coordinator and the Public Affairs Officer, manages the design, implementation, and coordination of all PEPFAR communications activities. The job holder will promote the multitude of on-going PEPFAR programs in Lesotho through traditional and electronic media and by using strategic public outreach. The job holder will work directly with the Mission’s Public Affairs Section, USAID, CDC, Peace Corps, and all PEPFAR implementing partners as well as all domestic and international media.
Starting salary: 360, 541.00 per annum plus diplomatic holidays and other benefits.
