Job Description- Oversee construction projects from beginning to end and to ensure that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspects the workmanship, quality of work on construction site and ensuring all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
- Mediate and resolve disputes of any magnitude related to construction.
- Build, maintain and manage relationships with developers, Land Authorities, and other relevant regulatory and industry bodies to ensure smooth operation across all value chain.
- Monitor progress work on construction sites periodically to ensure overall compliance and reporting on progress done before disbursements.
- Review plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations.
- Check the quality/ workmanship for all construction works are within the acceptable standard and advising the project team accordingly.
- Onboarding of all project team members and engaging with all stakeholders to explain their responsibilities in each project, the bank’s expectation & requirements and ensure alignment from beginning of construction project to eliminate queries.
- Compile project related appraisals for contractors, developers, supervisors, and Initiating reference check of the client’s preferred contractor’s professional Team (Q.S, Architect, contractor, supervisor).
- Check and ensure the project manager or supervisor is available during all critical stages to ensure that the quality meets both the specification and the expectation of the end user and that they produce the quality assurance sign-off.
- Check and record all variation orders to the original scope of works within the provisions of the original contract.
- Advisory role to the bank on the building project feasibility and home purchase financial investment worthiness.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying or Building or Construction management & Physical Planning plus 3 years relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in land and property management can be an added advantage.

- Experience in construction management or quantity surveying.
- Experience managing a team/leading people.

- Client Focused with excellent communication skills.
- A good understanding of the Home Loan product or housing industry standards and legal framework.
- Ability to advise on a wide range of legal and contractual issues related to building and purchasing properties.
- Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
- Be able process and analyse plans in line with budget so that they can provide recommendation and advise into project feasibility from on set.
