The Ministry of Environment and Forestry through the Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) is implementing a 2-year Project titled “Preparation of Lesotho’s First Biennial Transparency Reports and Fourth National Communications (BTR1/NC4) to the UNFCCC” aimed at supporting the preparation and submission of Lesotho’s First Biennial Transparency Report (BTR1) and Fourth National Communication (NC4) to meet UNFCCC and Paris Agreement reporting requirements, while also addressing national development goals. This project is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as the delivery partner.
The Ministry is therefore looking for a qualified, experienced, and competent NDC Tracking Consultant to prepare and compile Information necessary to track progress made in implementing and achieving nationally determined contributions under Article 4 of the Paris Agreement. The consultancy will be responsible for filling the common tabular formats (CTFs) for the electronic reporting.
The terms of reference will be obtained from Procurement Office at Post Office Building, 6TH Floor, Procurement Office during office hours on the 28th October, 2024. Submission of the proposals should be on or before 09:00 am on the 21st November, 2024 in the tender box located on the 7th Floor, Ministry of Environment and Forestry Board Room entrance. SEALED PROPOSALS SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED as per instructions in section 2. The opening of the Proposals shall be at 09: 30 am on the 21st November, 2024 at the Ministry’s boardroom in the presence of the bidders or their representatives. All bidders are expected to comply with all the requirements.
The Ministry does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender nor assign reasons for acceptance or rejection of any tender. Pre-bid meeting is on the 12th November, 2024 at 10:00 am in the PS Boardroom, 7th floor.
