Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer/Senior in the Department of Procedural and Adjectival Law at the National University of Lesotho.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer must hold a minimum of a PhD/LLD degree. Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate competence in handling procedural law courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
Teaching experience and research requirements shall meet minimum requirements set out in the Appointment and Promotions Criteria/Guidelines for teaching and research staff at NUL, as per the relevant rank.
Applicant is expected to have knowledge of advanced Learning Management Systems (LMS).
DUTIES
The incumbent will be expected to promote the professional development of law students through teaching, supervision and research in his/her area of expertise. The incumbent should have the ability to handle courses taught by the departments of Private Law and Public Law should the need arise. Further, the incumbent is expected to develop up to date study materials, deliver lectures
and assess students as per the rules and regulations of the Faculty of Law.
Administrative duties may also be assigned by the Faculty from time to time.
REMUNERATION
The University offers competitive salaries and other benefits commensurate to qualifications and experience.
CONTRACT
Permanent and pensionable for Lesotho citizens. Contractual for international citizens.
