Position: Marketing Internship
Location: Metcash Complex, Room 133, Maseru
Internship type: Paid
Duration: 3 months

Internship Overview:
The Marketing intern will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging marketing content and building online community through strategic social media management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and implement new growth strategies and social media marketing trends to increase reach, engagement and brand awareness.
• Managing daily social media activities which include responding to messages and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Write and Edit high-quality, engaging content for social media posts and marketing campaigns
• Ensure heightened brand visibility across high traffic areas.
• Assist in planning and executing product launches, promotions and special marketing campaigns.
• Design and execute physical / Outdoor marketing campaigns, including events, trade shows, local promotions and in-store displays
• Analyse and report on digital & physical campaign performance, to drive future strategies and optimize reach.
  •Promoting Inventor World’s vast array of activities not limited to computer training only.

SKILLS:

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Social Media management tools
• Creative problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
• Knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) for simple poster designs is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a marketing, public relations or any related course.
• Experience with social media management and physical marketing strategies is a plus
