Location : Maseru
JOB PURPOSE Responsible for supporting and developing growth and effectiveness of the Bank through its staff.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts assessments to identify performance, culture, and structure improvements.
- Designs and implements programs to ensure that the Bank meets its strategic goals.
- Consolidates the Bank’s training plan for both strategic and operational needs.
- Develops and implements training programs to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge and evaluates their effectiveness.
- Facilitate change management efforts including communication and training.
- Manage and advise management on performance management system.
- Monitors proper implementation and adherence to the LPB Training and Development Policy.
- Manages the training budget.
- Trains operational staff on all LPB policies, manuals, procedures, and processes to enhance their performance.
- Makes arrangements for inductions and refresher courses on general LPB policies.
- Institutionalizes a post-training evaluation system to assess the impact of each training program on the performance of employees.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- Degree in Organisational Development, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Human Resources Management or any related discipline plus five (5) years working in Human Resources/Organisational Development field.
- Postgraduate qualification and certification in OD will be an added advantage.
- Banking experience will be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop training manuals.
- Ability to use digital training platforms.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good time management.
- Delivery focused.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- The ability to identify and understand the business needs and strategies and then to interpret and convert these into strategies.
- The need to identify training needs to support the business.
- Required to interpret, analyse, evaluate and formulate plans based on information from a number of sources.
- Take a short to medium term perspective with regard to business planning.
