NALA BUTCHERY is primarily a family butcher shop in Maseru. We have served our customers well throughout the past 6 years and have performed exceptionally with our outside Butcher Grill. Nala Butchery prides itself on learning its customers’ taste, which has led us to develop our own signature Boer-Wors flavour.

POSITION: DRIVER (1)Responsibilities:• To provide safe and timeous transportation of goods whilst adhering to safety requirements.• Pre-use inspection of vehicle to ensure that vehicle is in safe workable condition. Check for water-, oil-, and fuel levels, air pressure, electrical components, hydraulic function, brakes, controls and general condition for functionality and safety.• Ensures that defects are reported immediately to the Butchery Operations Manager. Fluid levels are maintained as specified by the manufacturer’s standards.• Ensure vehicle license is valid. Ensure valid driver’s license is always in his/her possession.• Operate fridge truck/ vehicle according to process procedure and method within specified limits of mechanical ability to maximize work life.• Adhere to all safety regulations, processes and operating procedures. Ensure vehicle is cleaned according to prescribed process,procedure.• Report any defects or minor/major accidents immediately to the Butchery Operations Manager.• Collect, load, secure and off-load all goods according to product specification / authorized request. Ensure that relevant documentation accompanies all goods collected / delivered, relevant documentation is signed off by sender and receiver.• Collect and safely transport people as requested. Ensure passengers adhere to road safety rules and regulations.Requirements:• Valid driver’s license.• Clean driving record for at least one year.• Ability to drive for extended periods.• Strong commitment to safety.• Excellent navigational skills.• Good communication and interpersonal skills.• Shall not drive under the influence of alcohol/ drugs.Qualifications:• A valid Code 10 driver’s license.• Must hold a valid public driver’s license.• 10 -15 years of experience as a driver.
