The Government of Lesotho has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank to implement the Lesotho Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
One of the key Individual Consulting Services positions within the Project Management Unit (PMU) under Lesotho Entrepreneurship Hub and Seed Financing Facility (LEHSFF) is the Deputy Entrepreneurship Hub Manager – Operations.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development through the CAFI PMU, now invites interested individuals to indicate their interest in the position. Interested individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience for the position.
The selection criteria will be based on the following information, inter alia:
Master’s degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, or related fields.
At least three (3) years of experience in business development, management consulting, entrepreneurship, or related fi elds, with an emphasis on supporting start-ups and SMEs.
Candidates without a master’s degree will be considered if they have additional experience in areas relevant to the assignment.
Experience in managing and building a network of incubators or entrepreneurship support organizations or similar organizational support experience.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including investors, entrepreneurs, and government agencies.
Knowledge of entrepreneurship ecosystems and start-up business models; experience with the Lesotho entrepreneurship ecosystem will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to diverse audiences and facilitate training sessions.
Demonstrated experience working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment.
Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Fluency in Sesotho
