This role is responsible for the Fulfillment of key responsibilities in terms of Data Analytics Engagements.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Reviewing and validating models to ensure that risk models are appropriate.
• Developing modelling techniques to enable financial analysis of banks.
• Developing risk models for simulation and stress testing in order to detect early warning signals;
• Communicate to team members and management complicated methodologies, data and theories to ensure common understanding.
• Conducting surveillance of licensed entities using the risk based policy framework.
• Receive relevant data.
• Conducting of Data Analysis.
• Providing requisite reports to management within set periods and maintaining Issue tracking / Follow-up.
• Conducting surveillance of licensed entities using the risk based policy framework.

The Candidate will be required to:

• Competently conduct all allocated responsibilities.
• Deliver quality engagements which results in a high level of satisfaction from stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient and effective utilization of relevant systems and tools by staff members.
• Effectively complete engagements with a high level of quality within budgeted hours and cost.
• Deliver quality and value added reports within the contracted timeframe.

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Banking, Economics or any equivalent professional qualification
• Relevant Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
• Two (2) relevant experience in a related field will also form an added advantage
