Reports to: Sous chef
Location: Mohale Lodge
Type of contract: Fixed-Term

Qualifications and experience:

  • COSC plus certificate in culinary and five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
  • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Handle and store ingredients & food
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Competencies required:

  • Teamwork
  • Culinary expertise
