ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR – MECHANICAL


Lesotho Flour Mills, a leading FMCG company, has a vacancy for an Engineering Supervisor – Mechanical in the Engineering Department. The incumbent will supervise a team of experienced mechanical technicians; implement maintenance and repairs of grain milling plants and their packaging lines. The incumbent will be reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Key Performance Areas/Expected Outputs

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervision of installations, maintenance and improvement of production lines, mills, supervises contractors and ensuring that health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.
  • Develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs for equipment and plant;
  • Conducts root cause analysis on equipment – major and frequent failures; recommends and implements corrective action.
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

Qualifications Required

  • A National Certificate in Fitting and Machining or Diploma in mechanical engineering. A degree in mechanical engineering would be an added advantage.
  • At least six years work experience in a manufacturing environment at a supervisory level.
