Job Description
This role is an opportunity to learn and implement our methodology as a member of our Africa regional team.
As a Delivery Leader, you’ll work with leaders to support better delivery of public services for the good of their citizens and residents. We are looking for someone to support our teams as we grow our work across Southern Africa, particularly in Lesotho that will bring a sharp and data-informed analytical problem-solving skill set to support our clients. This may include working with clients to use data to formulate and test recommendations to improve senior level decision making, facilitating problem solving and collaboration through action-oriented routines, design and delivery of stakeholder workshops, and/or engagement with frontline services providers and end users to inform policy and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work for government agencies and ministries to develop delivery plans with clear strategies, targets, trajectories and action plans
- Monitor the implementation of delivery plans, establishing frequent routines and accountability mechanisms
- Support problem-solving, learning, and continuous improvement within your projects
- Engage in data collection and analytical processes, develop visualizations and storylines, and support decision-making by senior leaders
- Build delivery capacity of national and subnational government leaders
- Participate in meetings and trainings with government officials to discuss planning and implementation tools and methods

Required Skills/Experience:
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent requisite experience. Requisite years of professional experience and/or apprenticeship pathways will also be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Professional experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant, full time work experience in government, consulting, public policy, and project management. Demonstrated experience and strong skills in using data to drive decision making and track impact, as well as building capacity in others to use data.
- Communication skills: Business level proficiency in English.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity working in the standard business suite (analyzing data in spreadsheets, creating presentations, etc.).
- Authorization + location requirements: Must be based in and/or willing to relocate to Lesotho.
