The Jonsson Manufacturing team is responsible for bringing our garments to life by consistently producing high-quality products in order to serve our customers brilliantly. Jonsson Manufacturing is based in Lesotho and manufactures most of the Jonsson Workwear apparel products across 7 factories, a centralised Cutting Room, Customisation Facilities, and an Industrial Laundry.
The Facilities Maintenance Leader forms part of the Jonsson Manufacturing Team in Lesotho and will be supporting the business by effectively and proactively managing and executing all maintenance at our various facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, building, mechanical, and general maintenance.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage and execute all maintenance and repair requirements across our facilities.
- Build and manage relationships with service providers.
- Execute all repairs and assess maintenance requirements for any further support required.
- Proactively be on the lookout for anything that requires maintenance.
- Prioritises to work efficiently in an organised, systematic manner.
- Is reliable, punctual with a high energy level and excellent work ethic.
- Lead a team of artisans and handymen to achieve objectives, On Time, In Full and on budget.
- Strives to provide a top class service that exceeds expectations.
The experience we’re looking for:
- Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering related qualification.
- 10+ years’ experience in maintenance, dealing with electrical, structural, roofing, drainage, mechanical, premises, plumping and all other related functions.
- Must have good knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations of Lesotho.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Valid passport
