DEMONSTRATOR IN MATHEMATICS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Demonstrator in Mathematics.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum qualification is a B.Sc. degree with at least second class – first division and Mathematics must be a major subject with at least 70% average.
Teaching or tutoring experience at a university level will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in course instruction.
Administer and mark quizzes, tests and examinations.
Coordinate and/or supervise tutorial sessions.
Coordinate and/or supervise student s’ tutorial assistants.
Participate in research programmes and programme development within the department.
Perform other duties, including administrative, and as would be required by the department and/or faculty.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with the post.
Employment type:
This post is meant for locals only and will be on permanent and pensionable contract.
