Position: Cleaner

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Cleaner in the Department of Campus Services (Domestic Bursar Section) on permanent and pensionable terms of service. An applicant must be ready to reside in Thaba-Tseka within radius of 3km from IEMS Campus.
Qualifications and experience:
• Must possess COSC/LGCSE or equivalent;
• Two years’ experience as a Cleaner;
• Male candidates would be an added advantage due to the magnitude of work involved
Responsibilities: Answerable to General Supervisor Services with the following specific assignments:
• Fitting curtains for NUL Buildings;
• Cleaning Windows for NUL Buildings;
• General daily cleaning in all University Buildings;
• Cleaning and decorations for special events venues (i.e. Management meetings, Council meetings, Memorial services, Graduations’ etc.);
• Laundry Services as need arise;
• Attend to sectional work progress meetings;
Competences:
• Must be able to work even after normal working hours when need arise;
• Must be able to speak fluently both English and Sesotho as the main mode of communication;
• Must be self-driven and independent person;
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision and must possess a high degree of confidentiality;
• Must be able to work under pressure;
• Must be a person of sober habits.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
