Phelisanang Bophelong (PB) HIV/AIDS Network invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the following positions under the USAID Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention (SECURE) Activity. PB’s scope of work under SECURE is to improve coverage of non-discriminatory, client centred, integrated services across the continuum of care for key populations.

The positions created to support the HIV package of services for Female Sex Workers (FSW), Transgender, (TG), Men having Sex with Men (MSM) and priority populations in Leribe and Maseru districts and the allocation of positions per district is as follows:

Men having Sex with Men, Transgender and Priority Populations interventions: Three (3) Peer Educators. Supporting activities in the following locations; Mazenod, Mohlakeng and Manonyane.

Female Sex Workers and Priority populations interventions: ???????????????????? (3) ???????????????? ????????????????????????????????????. Supporting activities in the following locations: Supporting activities in the following councils: Hleoheng, Hlotse, Maoamafubele, and Tsoilitsoili.
Men having Sex with Men, Transgender and Priority Populations interventions: Four (4) Peer educators. Supporting activities in the following locations: Hleoheng, Hlotse, Maoamafubele, and Tsoilitsoili.

The Peer Educator will be responsible for demand creation activities. Mobilization and linkage of the targeted groups with HIV. TB and SRH services and other health services.
Conduct information sharing through sessions (one – on – one and /or groups sessions) on HIV/AIDS, SRH and TB to project participants;
Providing referrals for HIV, TB and SRH including HIV testing, HIV Self Testing, TB screening, STI screening and management, Family planning, Cancer screening, and regular condom use.
Distribution of condoms, lubricants and communication materials to the targeted groups.
Communicate with project participants around social and behavioural change as it is relating to HIV/AIDS and TB.
Identify, validate and update the hotspots for mapping and programmatic purposes
Work with other peer staff to establish the project participants networks clubs to improve on adherence of both ART and PrEP.
Conduct community mobilization activities with stakeholders.
Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and as may be required by supervisors;

Must have completed COSC / LGCSE or Equivalent
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of work experience in supporting interventions for the targeted population.
Previous experience as Peer Educator a key requirement.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Ability to travel as and when required, and to work in challenging environment.
Basic computer skills.
