???????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Letšeng Diamond Mine seeks to employ a qualified Mosotho national with appropriate skills and experience to fill the position of:SORTHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT (PATERSON BAND DL x1)????????????????????????????:To manage all the Sorthouse activities at Letšeng Diamonds, ensuring optimum accuracy and efficiency. This includes the management of the all the diamond accounting systems, diamond valuation and all export related activities.???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????:• Set the Sort-house performance standards and controls to ensure efficient diamond recovery.• Provide control and leadership within the Sorthouse by maintaining good communication with Recovery Manager and subordinates, in liaison with all related departments.• Establish and define work procedures and practices to provide acceptable standards of output and performance in the Sorthouse.• Delegate tasks and responsibilities and follow-up to ensure that actions are taken.• Review the Sort-house systems, processes and practices to ensure efficiency, and accuracy.• Maintain and/or improve the Final Sorthouse operational performance by bringing in skills and expertise as required.• Ensure provision of accurate diamond statistics and reports to all related parties.• Execute and manage diamond valuation and export as per the procedure.• Maintain the diamond damage data base and provide the relative reports to the Recovery Manager.• Establish trends and patterns for management on the performance of the recovery plant.• Maintain and ensure adherence to the HSE and Security standard operating procedures and policies.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? & ???????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????:• A tertiary qualification in a production or engineering related course.• Experience of Basic Mineralogy is preferred.• Experience of Diamond Valuation, diamond processing; rough diamond course certificate is preferred.• 3 years Plant experience at Management level and the ability to work well with people.• Code 8 Driver’s Licence???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????????????????????? & ????????????????????????:• Detailed knowledge and experience of metallurgical standards, diamond extraction systems and technologies.• Knowledge about the Kimberly Process.• Strong quality orientation in terms of work standards.• Good leadership, interpersonal and supervisory skills.• Strong conflict management skills.???????????? ???????? ????????????????????:Interested candidates should apply online at [email protected]???????????????????????????? ????????????????: 06 October 2024.
