MOSEPELE FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT FORUM (MFDF)
Founded in Lesotho in 2015, MFDF is a local youth-led organization with a presence in health facilities and communities across Lesotho and a membership of over 5,000 youth. Mosepele’s voice resonates in communities and on national platforms, representing Basotho youth in critical discussions and initiatives. MFDF engages young people as critical decision-makers and participants in the design, delivery, and monitoring of health and socio-economic services.
Guided by the Lesotho National Youth Policy, MFDF represent Basotho youth nationally, including at Lesotho Country Coordinating Mechanisms (LCCM) and PEPFAR COP meetings.
MFDF has a proven track record in executing impactful projects, including PEPFAR Community Lead Monitoring, The Global Fund’s Her Voice Fund, Global Fund for Children’s Mental Health etc.
MFDF is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

Position Type: Full-Time
Overview:
The Youth Advisor will play a vital role in the BOKAMOSO project. This role involves providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure that the project effectively addresses the needs of youth, particularly through the establishment and support of a Youth Steering Committee. The Youth Advisor will integrate a youth-focused perspective across all aspects of the project, ensuring that interventions are relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of young people.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, Youth Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in youth development, program management, or related fields, with a focus on health, education, or social services. Experience in establishing and managing youth committees or advisory groups is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of youth development issues, particularly related to HIV/AIDS, OVC, and community engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing youth-focused programs and interventions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required. Additional language skills relevant to the project location are advantageous.
