To manage the Bank’s risk profile and provide assurance that the Bank has taken on risks that are commensurate with its strategy and return profile.

• Ensure that the various risks impacting the bank are tracked and solutions to mitigate the risks are documented.
• Ensure that all the Bank’s risk tools are optimized for management decision making and analytics.
• Ensure that data quality issues are minimized in the capture and reporting of risk data on material risk reporting systems (SECM, Open Pages, Archer).
• Ensure that reporting to Governance Committees and Group is done timely and of a good standard.
• Provide business with a status on the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls in the risk tools including PRCIAs, KRIs and Incident Reports.
• Ensuring all admin work is adequately processed in the Risk Function.
• Ensuring enhanced use of risk reporting templates aligned to Group and Best Practice.
• Have an astute ability to read and comprehend enormous volumes of information. 
• Have a literary ability to create well-articulated reporting documents that contain visual presentations, massive quantities of written reports with alignment to the Bank’s and global reporting standards. 
• Have a high emotional quotient and good stakeholder management skills.
• Basic Financial Analysis e.g. financial statements etc.
