Job title: Consultant – Development of investment cases for Lesotho on maternal and neonatal health, family planning, child marriage, and gender-based violence.

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund is seeking a qualified individual consultant to contribute to the development of the Lesotho Investment Case on maternal and neonatal health, family planning, child marriage and gender based violence. This initiative aims to advance national development plans by addressing these critical issues.
Scope of Work: Scope of Work:
- Document and Analyze Data: Gather and evaluate country-level data on current financing and commitments related to maternal and neonatal health, family planning, child marriage, and gender-based violence.
- Produce a Situational Analysis Report: Create a comprehensive report that outlines the current situation, identifying gaps and opportunities for intervention.
- Defi ne Investment Needs: Assess and defi ne the specific investment requirements within Lesotho’s development frameworks to achieve
transformative results in the targeted areas. - Develop a Compelling Investment Case: Craft a persuasive investment case that highlights the return on investment for prioritized interventions, demonstrating their potential impact on national development goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in public health, economics, or other related social sciences.
- Experience in developing investment cases or related strategic documents.
- Proven ability to engage with multi-sectoral stakeholders and synthesize complex data.
