Job Description

We are offering a rigorous 6-month Finance Internship programme designed to provide aspiring professionals with comprehensive exposure to the financial operations within our esteemed hospitality organisation. This internship is structured to foster the development of critical skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in finance within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to the development of financial projections.

Participate in month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data for management reporting.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls.

Conduct research on financial trends and best practices within the hospitality industry.

Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of transactions.

Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors as required.

Contribute to the development and refinement of financial policies and procedures.

Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by the Finance team.
