Lekhoakhoa Farms is looking for a young Mosotho male aged 23-30yrs for the position of Broiler House Attendant
Job Summary: The Broiler House Attendant is responsible for the daily care of broiler chickens, ensuring they are fed, watered, and housed in a clean and healthy environment. This role is critical for maintaining bird welfare and optimizing growth rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed and water chickens according to established schedules.
Clean and sanitize broiler houses, equipment, and feeding areas.
Monitor bird behavior and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
Assist in weighing birds and recording data for performance tracking.
Help with the disposal of dead birds.
Adhere to biosecurity and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
Form C or COSC/LGCSE.
Previous experience in poultry or animal care is an asset.
Ability to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Must be living at Khubetsoana Ntsirele or willing to relocate to Ntsirele Khubetsoana.
