Job Title: Receptionist
The LSRC is looking for a highly motivated and organized receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of the team, and be able to handle a variety of tasks, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, so it is important that they are able to create a positive and professional impression. They will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, so it is important that they are detail-orientated and organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
• Assist visitors to meet the right person or office.
• Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to the appropriate personnel, and take accurate messages.
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mails, packages, and deliveries.
• Provide basic and correct information via email/call or in person.
• Schedule appointments and maintain appointments calendars for various departments.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
• Proficiency in using office equipment, such as telephone systems and computers.
• Consistent, professional attitude, and appearance.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse individuals
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Attention to detalls and strong organisational skills
• Abilty to multitask, prloritize tasks and manage time effectively
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration or related qualifications with at least 3 to 12 months experience.
