Maintenance Officer: Ref: MO
Maintenance Officer ensures that the Bank’s assets are in good working condition, equipment and buildings are maintained to conducive and usable standards.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Daily inspection of Plant and Equipment to make sure that they are in working order.
- Supervision of service providers contracted by the Bank to undertake maintenance of Plant and Equipment as well undertaking other works.
- Supervision of daily activities of Assistant Maintenance Officers.
The Candidate will be required to:
- Ensure that general maintenance upkeep of Bank’s premises is satisfactory.
- Ensure that the Plant and Equipment of the Bank are operational and effective per preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure that maintenance contractors adhere to health and safety procedures and when on side, their presence is recorded.
- Ensure that electrical power distribution and plumbing works are maintained.
- Carry out routine upkeep/first line support work of the Plant and Equipment of the Bank.
- Inspects, monitors and records work performance prior to invoices being processed for payment processes.

- A Degree/ Higher National Diploma in Electrical and /or Building Engineering or Equivalent professional qualifications.
- Working knowledge in the use of spread sheet applications is necessary.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience.
