Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Food and Beverages (F&B Manager).
Purpose of the Job
To overseeing all food and beverage operations within Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village, including the restaurant, catering services for the museum and amphitheatre events, and other F&B outlets. The role ensures high standards of food quality, customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability while supporting the cultural village’s overall mission to offer authentic Basotho culinary experiences.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Bcom/Certified Accounting Technician with Hospitality background.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management and strong financial background, preferably in a cultural, hospitality, or tourism environment.
Key Competencies
- Proven experience in restaurant operations, event catering, and customer service.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of Basotho cuisine and cultural food practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management tools).
