Situated in the Leribe district; Lesotho, Phelisanang Bophelong HIV/AIDS Network, herein referred to as “PB”, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and a Community-Based Organization (CBO) of People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) established in 2004. PB’s core mandate is to improve quality of life for PLWHA, Most at risk populations, Key and other vulnerable populations through universal access to Prevention, Treatment, Care, and Support services. The organization reaches beneficiaries with services ranging from Prevention of TB/HIV and AIDS to impact mitigation through Prevention, Support, and Protection services, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender Based Violence (GBV) responses, Livelihoods and Advocacy interventions at the community level.
PB is seeking for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position under the USAID Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention (SECURE) Activity. PB’s scope of work under SECURE is to improve coverage of non-discriminatory, client centred, integrated services across the continuum of care for key populations.

Under the supervision of the TB/HIV Clinical Nurse, the Nursing Assistant will work at the Drop – In Centre and Community level to offer impartial assistance and support to the TB/HIV Clinical Nurse in ensuring that Program beneficiaries receive comprehensive TB and HIV Prevention, Care, Treatment and Support services.
???????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????:
- Support the refill of PrEP and ART at the DIC and community settings;
- Appropriately, timely, and completely filling at the point of care, all registers, records, and reports;
- Offer nursing care in ART as per specified national policy and guidelines;
- Carry out any other tasks as delegated by the supervisors;
- Link and make follow up actions for all clients to the health facilities for further management and continuum of care;
- Ensuring that screening of Program participants for TB, STIs, and other health services at the Drop – In centre clinic and community levels;
- Working closely with TB/HIV Clinical Nurse to perform duties as may be requested by proper authority.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS-SET:
- Certificate in Nursing Assistant;
- Certification of registration with Lesotho Nursing Council (LNC).
- At least 2 years relevant professional experience supporting HIV/TB programs in clinical and community settings.
- Professional experience in working with marginalized and vulnerable populations, such as female sex workers.
- Demonstrates cultural awareness and sensitivity, respecting the diversity of the target population.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
