As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting a Principal Officer to oversee our Medical Insurance Business Unit and drive its strategic vision forward.
The Role:
As Principal Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Medical Insurance Business Unit. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will manage key functions such as membership, claims, business development, product development, and underwriting. Your primary goal will be to ensure the continued growth and success of the business unit by delivering innovative insurance solutions and exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement long-term strategies to drive the success of the Medical Insurance Business Unit.
. Lead and manage teams across membership, claims, business development, product innovation, and underwriting.
· Oversee membership growth, claims processing, and the development of cutting-edge insurance products.
· Identify new market opportunities and build strategic partnerships to enhance our service offerings.
· Monitor financial performance and ensure the business unit meets revenue and profit goals.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain a strong focus on risk management.
What We’re Looking For:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· At least 10 years of experience in the medical insurance sector, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
· Strong experience in business development, product innovation, underwriting, and claims management.
· Proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in the insurance industry.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
