Position: Laboratory Technologist (1)
Grade: F
Responsible to: Laboratory Head
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Laboratory Head, the incumbent will analyse patient samples to produce quality results.
Duties:
• Receive samples and match sample request forms and details
• Analyse samples as per protocols and SOPs
• Compute statistics for series of tests
• Complete and maintain results
• Implement safety precautions
• Implement Quality Management Systems
• Other laboratory related duties
Skills required:
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Organising skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
Job Requirements
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Biomedical Sciences
• At least 1 year of work experience
