To market and sell financial solutions encompassing products, technology and services-aimed at increasing the sales capacity of the business across defined distribution channels and other potential markets. Additionally, identify and attract new business and retain the existing customer base.
The role will be based in Maseru and also includes oversight of branches located in other parts of Lesotho.

• Establish financial targets for individuals and teams and identify opportunities to minimise cost or increase sales/revenue in area of accountability.
• Develop market position through the identification of target markets, building relationships and negotiating and closing business deals.
• Ensure customer understanding of organisation, brand messages, products and services in order to facilitate messages appropriately and successfully.
• Ensure that customers are educated on products and services to ensure retention of existing customers; improving sales revenue and customer base.
• Proactively identifies and assist with the development and implementation of new distribution channels to grow market share.
• Develops and executes a marketing plan in conjunction with sales team to achieve the revenue and channel strategic growth objectives.
• Assists in the development and distribution of marketing material aligned to defined customer value propositions to improve competitive positioning and promote the brand value of Liberty products.
• Provides leadership and management oversight over the sales consultants and direct sales agents on a daily basis.
• Supports the continuous training and coaching of all contracted distribution channels and their employees on Liberty products, procedures and technology services.

•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, including 3 years in a managerial position.
