The Operations Unit is looking for a Project Manager – Bokang Project Lesotho to manage the HMIS Project in Lesotho. In this role, you will manage project deliverables relating to enhancements, deployment, and integration of the eRegister with other MOH and other department systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow through on deliverables to completion,
- As a single point of responsibility, understand the product to be delivered and create a single product viewpoint of the project,
- Provide leadership for the project,
- Facilitate the project management process,
- Evaluate project results and redirect resources periodically,
- Keep the customer informed and happy and
- Keep management informed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Appropriate tertiary qualification (or equivalent) is a minimum requirement
- Appropriate postgraduate qualification / Master’s degree will be an advantage
- Project Management qualification will be an advantage
- High degree of computer literacy – confident in MS Office and Windows
- Project Management software experience will be an advantage
- Project management experience managing projects
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with national and provincial health departments, international NGOs and other customers
- Research and development and policy development experience will be an advantage.
- Experience managing agile teams and processes will be an advantage.
- Ability to lead change in a complex and evolving environment
- Ability to implement effective organizational and digital strategies within a complex, changing environment
- Health Data Analysis skills
- Health Data Manipulation skills will be an advantage
- Ability to coordinate and develop subordinates across multiple levels Project management
