Job offer: Procurement Superintendent at Letšeng Diamonds

Introduction

Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of PROCUREMENT SUPERINTENDENT

Duties & Responsibilities

To manage the design, planning, execution, control and monitoring of the procurement activies with the objective of creating value to meet operational requirements and thereby ensuring sourcing of all mine consumables, spares, services and equipment including capital projects requirements

Desired Qualification, Experience, Skills & Competencies

Bachelors Degree in supply chain management or related field. A completed qualification in CIPS would be an added advantage.

5 years relevent experience in procurement management in a medium to large enterprise. Experience in a mining environment would be an added advantage

Knowledge and understanding of procurement management theory, principles and techniques, with proficiency in Flowcentric, Sage and Microsoft Office. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management.
