GUARDIAN ANGEL SCHOOLPosition: AccountantJob descriptionTo manage all finance transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposit and budgets. These include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, he/she should have previous experience in School Accounts and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, he/she will provide the school management with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the school, while ensuring that the school is compliant with all tax regulations.Responsibilities-Manage all accounting transactions-Prepare budget forecasts-Publish financial statements in time-Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings-Reconcile accounts payable and receivable-Ensure timely bank payments-Compute taxes and prepare tax returns-Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements-Report on the school’s financial health and liquidity-Audit financial transactions and documents-Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.-Comply with financial polices and regulations.Qualifications and experience-General Accountant with 3 years working experience and or-Degree in Business Management or equivalent with 3 years working experience and or-Certified Accounting Technician with 5 years working experience and or-Diploma in Business Management with 5 years working experienceApplications must include: Application letter, CV, certified copies of certificates, certified copy of Identity Document and 2 reference letters.Applications should be electronically sent to [email protected] or hand delivered to Guardian Angel School, P.O.
