BOPHELO-BO-BOTLE (BBB) PROJECT (1 year project)
Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL) is a network of churches’ owned health facilities including 8 hospitals, 71 Health Centres and 4 Nursing Training Institutions throughout the country. It is constitutionally mandated to facilitate participation of Christian churches in ensuring that the right to health for all is upheld to the highest quality. The Association collaborates with various partners in delivering health care services to fulfil its mandate and as such, implements various donor funded projects to promote good health for all Basotho. CHAL therefore, has entered into a consortium with EGPAF Lesotho to implement a one-year Bophelo-Bo-Botle (BBB) project that will be implemented in Maseru, Thaba-Tseka, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek to improve health outcomes through integrated HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and other essential services. This project seeks to optimise clinical service delivery, strengthen health systems and to build the local capacity by providing the technical assistance to enhance ownership, accountability, resources mobilisation at the National and sub-national level. CHAL therefore invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

To provide monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL) functions for BBB project and to support management with accurate, relevant and timely information/data for evidence-based decision-making process. The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing M&E frameworks and systems; collecting, verifying, and reporting data for program activities; and capturing impact, learning, and recommending the best practices.
????????????????????????????????????????????????:
- Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics or any relevant social science, or any relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) of development programmes and policies, including planning, management and conducting project evaluations.
- Experience in Donor funded project management is an added advantage.
