The Revenue Services Lesotho was established by an Act of Parliament in 2001 and became operational in 2003. POSITION
Manager Compliance Analysis
SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
Responsible for management of Clients’ compliance analysis through use of data analytics tools, standard operating procedures and compliance model aimed at promoting automatic compliance and maximizing revenue collection, promoting service culture and reducing costs of collection.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in and contribute to the development of the long term and short-term organizational strategies
➢ Align sectional plans with organization’s strategies and initiatives to ensure they achieve intended outcomes
➢ Develop risk assessment criteria/methodology to select Compliance Analysis cases for Clients
➢ Lead complex compliance analysis or any other cases allocated to the manager
➢ Oversee analysis and evaluation of revenue compliance risk management data together with relevant third party data.
➢ Review Clients’ financial reports and translate complex financial reports into clear and understandable taxation points.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Post Graduate Degree in Accounting /Finance /Economics/ Compliance Analysis/Statistics or equivalent
Plus
Three (3) years’ relevant work experience, 2 years of which must be in a management / supervisory role.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Finance /Economics/ Compliance Analysis/Statistics or equivalent
Plus
Five (5) years’ relevant work experience, 3 years of which must be in a management/ supervisory role
NB Experience in Tax and Customs environment will be added advantage
