Job offer: Plant Operator at Letšeng Diamonds

Introduction

Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Plant Operator

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible to operate the plant in a safe, secure, efficient and productive manner. This job function requires detailed knowledge of the general diamond extraction unit processes  to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are met. 

Desired Qualification, Experience, Skills & Competencies

COSC plus proven track record in a diamond plant process operator role

Minimum of 3 years experience as a diamond plant operator with specific detailed knowledge of general diamond extraction unit processes

Detailed working knowledge plant operations and  processes.
Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication skills (written and verbal). 
Fit and physically strong. 
Not colour blind and free from vertigo.
