Job offer: Stores Controller at Letšeng Diamonds

Introduction

Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of STORES CONTROLLER

Duties & Responsibilities

To ensure proper management and oversight in the inventory control processes within the mining operation. This role ensures accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operational efficiency.     

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Diploma in Business Management or Accounting. A formal  certificate or degree in inventory management and warehousing would be an added advantage

2-3 years relevant inventory and warehousing management experience in mining environment

Good knowledge and proficiency in Sage Software or similar, and MS Office. Analytical and detail-oriented. Effective leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
