Job offer: Boilermaker at Letšeng Diamonds

Introduction

Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of BOILERMAKER

Duties & Responsibilities

To safely install, repair, commission, calibrate, inspect, replace, maintain and operate mechanical equipment to ensure optimum process plant performance so that production targets are achieved.

Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies

Recognised boilermaker trade certificate plus a proven track record in the mechanical field in the mining industry

Minimum of 3 years working experience as a boilermaker in the mining processing industry

Detailed knowledge and experience of processing plant mechanical equipment.
Good experience with equipment maintenance and fault-finding techniques.
Ability to interpret blueprints for location, position, and dimensions for mechanical systems.
Completing maintenance documentation.
Strong quality orientation in terms of work standards.
Valid drivers license
Physically fit and strong and free from vertigo.
