AET (Academy of Explosives Technology) Advance certificate.

Five years plus in mining, drilling andblasting. (Blasting Operations)

To develop and test blasting optimisation, to provide the highest quality blasting products and services available.
To conduct and manage blasting risk assessments, blast optimisation designs, blast performance results, specialist blast designs, and numerical modelling for critical blasts and submit relevant reports to ensure that all the requirements of the Mine Health and Safety Act, OHS Act, and statutory requirements within the department/remit thus ensuring effective management of SHERQ and adherence to stipulated disciplines for continuous improvement of occupational Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality that impact on any organisation.
To stay abreast of global technical advances in blasting and develop and implement policies, procedures and processes to ensure process excellence and continuous improvement.
To assist in providing advanced technical training for blasting engineers and clients.
To perform and report on annual business planning, thus ensuring efficient and effective management of finances and employees and assisting in such a manner as to accomplish the organisation’s objectives.
To compile and execute business & marketing strategy, thus ensuring new business for BME.
To effectively manage the operational service delivery value chain through activities to create and build value with the organisational vision at every step.
To effectively manage stock to obtain and preserve a suitable assortment of goods while keeping track of all orders, shipping, storage, handling and other related costs.
To ensure that all the requirements of the Mine Health and Safety Act, OHS Act, and statutory requirements within the department/remit,nthus ensuring effective management of SHERQ and adherence to stipulated disciplines for continuous improvement of occupational Safety,Environment, Risk and Quality that impact on any organisation.
To manage all aspects of human capital through the HR value chain and by legislation.
