POSITION: (ECO) Environmental Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Environmental Science or related fields

REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES

• 5 years’ experience
• Identifying & assessing previously unforeseen, actual or potential impacts on the environment
• Ensuring approved waste management practices are implemented daily
• Advising the contractor on the rectification of any pollution, contamination or damage to the construction site, rights of way & adjacent land
• Developing and maintaining various registers and checklists
• Conducting environmental audits of subcontractors and suppliers
• Advising/recommending action to address issues that have an adverse impact on the environment including the social environment
