Unik Construction has been awarded a project of Moshoeshoe & Kofi Annan Road and we are looking for a suitably qualifi ed candidate for the position of a Health & Safety Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

One or more of NEBOSH Diploma, National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent

REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES:

• 10 years relevant experience as a H&S Manager on construction projects of which 5 years’ experience shall be on similar projects as Roads projects
• Successful completion of a H&S Supervisors Training Course (e.g. IROCON)
• Sound knowledge of the occupational H&S Act and regulations (e.g. Legal Liability
• Sound knowledge of incident investigation processes and risks management processes (e.g. HIRA)
• Sound knowledge of incident investigation process and their causation phenomena (e.g. RCAT/TCAM etc.)
• Auditing and inspection training
• Proof of SACPCMP registration (or at least acceptance of application) of the H&S Manager must be provided.
