Project Summary:
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is currently implementing the Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) under Component 1A of the Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project (PSLP). PSLP is implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Social Development. The aim of the Economic Inclusion Program is to strengthen the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable households by piloting the introduction of economic inclusion activities alongside cash transfers. As a result, the incumbent will be responsible for capturing potential beneficiaries applications into the online application from the 5 community councils (Metsi Maholo, Tosing , Thaba Mokhele, Bolahla and Phuthiatsana).
Job Summary
- The Data Capturers will work closely with Economic Inclusion program MEAL team from CRS for 5 working days to ensure that all applications are captured in the online application.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Sort and organize hard copies before and after entering data electronically.
- Accurately transfer data from hard copies to online application form.
- Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system.
- Identify and correct data entry errors.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with project staff to gather necessary information.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to company MEAL policies and procedures.
Qualification and Expertise
- College certificate / Diploma in Statistics or related qualification
- Minimum of 1-year proven data capturing experience
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize time and work effectively.
- Strong people skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Highly motivated, confident communicator with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Pays attention to detail and displays a high level of integrity.
- Able to multi-task and is deadline orientated.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
Required languages.
- Fluency in Sesotho and English.
