Position overview:
Are you a visionary leader passionate about education? We are seeking an experienced School Principal to lead our primary section into the bright future. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and dedication to student
success. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school’s operations, including curriculum development, staff management, student discipline, and community engagement. Being an Adventist who has an exposure in the Adventist Philosophy of Education will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure high standards of academic achievement.
• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of a diverse student body.
• Foster a positive school culture that promotes student engagement, respect, and inclusion.
• Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff, providing professional development and support.
• Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, community members, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with the ministry of education.
• Promote continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications and skills
o Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership. or a related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably as a Principal or Assistant Principal.
o Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of educators.
o Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment.
o Strong understanding of British international Curriculum preferably Pearson Edexcel Curriculum.
o Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
o Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learming environment.
o Proven ability to engage with and build strong relationships within the school community
o Digital literacy.
o Master guide: be conversant in pathfinder curriculum and knowledgeable of its implementation.
o Project management skill
