The American International School of Lesotho, or AISL, celebrated its first year of operation at the start of the 1991 1992 school year. An official international school, registered with and supported by the United States of America Department of State and Office of Overseas Schools.
AISL is a unique school dedicated to academic excellence and personal development for children aged between 3 and 14 years of age. The school began as a one building campus in Maseru West and is now a larger campus in central Maseru next to the United Nations offices.
We currently have 21 different nationalities being represented among our student body. We are proud of this diversity and feel that the differences that people bring to the school help us become stronger.
